B*TCH Premiere's at The Players Theatre

A few days ago I was fortunate enough to watch and shoot some production stills for the off Broadway play B*TCH written by Sean Pompesello and directed by Christian Amato.

Let me start off by saying that you should go see this show. The story revolves around the Debenedetto family which consist of three brothers, one of which was taken in off the streets when he was young, and together they run a car salvage business in the Bronx. But when the brothers find a rare blue pit bull, they decide to go into the get-rich-quick scheme of dog fighting with the help of their estranged and inexorable uncle.

It's funny in all the wrong ways while still shining a message on a serious topic; dog fighting. The characters were intriguing with unfolding back stories which, explained some animosities between one another and themselves. The dialogue was fast paced, dark and hilarious at times (going against all things politically correct); just how I like a story to be told, and this was wonderfully played by the actors at hand.

I can't say this enough, go see it while you can.

And to avoid spoilers I'll stop the photo preview here, which naturally means that you'll have to go and see this show which ends its run on January 28th. To learn more about the show and to purchase tickets just go HERE.

Oh and did I mention that a dollar from every ticket purchased goes to the ASPCA? All the more reason to get a ticket and go.

B*TCH

Recently I was fortunate enough to shoot some publicity stills for the upcoming play B*TCH written by Sean Pomposello and directed by Christian Amato.

A fun shoot on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan located near the ever popular High Line Park, it's hard to believe such a beautiful section of the city not so long ago was home to sex clubs and leather bars, but that's another story....

Back to the topic at hand, B*TCH. The comedic story revolves around three brothers who decide to embark on the unpleasant sport of dog fighting, enlisting the help of Uncle Knee Co, a card carrying member of the Mothers and Fathers Italian Association (aka the mob), in order to make big money fast.

After meeting the director and cast and snapping a few photos of the actors in character, I'm sure that the upcoming performances in January, B*TCH will be a hit.

Arthur Aulisi as Uncle Knee Co

Michael Neithardt as Junie

Benjamin Weaver as Mitts

Brian Cheng as Davy Dollar$

Gina Lemoine as Gil
