St. Georges, Bermuda

Norwegian Breakaway Cruise to Bermuda

Day 3: St. George's and Fort St. Catherine

On our last day in port in Bermuda, we finally managed to catch a ferry (a 40 minute ride) from Royal Naval Dockyard to St. George's, and it was definitely worth the wait. St. George's has so much charm, beautiful architecture and history (it is after all a UNESCO World Heritage Site). There are plenty of little shop to stop in and check out and some interesting tours to take, however since we only had a few hours in town I decided to get my history nerd on, and took a short 5 minute cab ride (about $8 without tip) to historic Fort St. Catherine. Now once again, if you're not a history fan, go at least for the impressive view from the very top of the fort, plus they house some jewels, so there's is something for everyone.

Also if you're a photographer, St. George's will be a playland for you, so much to see and shoot. So with this post, that will conclude my whole Norwegian Breakaway Cruise to Bermuda, I hope you enjoyed and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I can definitely say this though, I can't wait to go back to Bermuda one day and explore a little more!
